What is Tucker University?

We at Studio 180 Design are proud to be working with a pair of our Certified Instructors, Beth Sidley and Phyllis Fay, who have created the Tucker University curriculum. The mission of Tucker University is to provide shop owners and quilt instructors with lesson plans and resources for properly teaching how to use every aspect of each of the Studio 180 Design tools and techniques with as little preparation time as possible.

Your membership in the Tucker University program entitles you to:
  • A Shop Owner's Guide of how to use the lesson plan, teaching tips, 13 different courses and course descriptions, marketing strategies and cost analysis.
  • Detailed lesson plans ready to be implemented
  • Design Sheets ready for distribution to the students
  • Black Line Masters for more design ideas for the students
Course preparation is minimal.
  • Make a few demonstration units; not an entire quilt.
  • Follow the lesson plan and hold class
  • Build your tool box of units as you go along

Tucker University Library

With the introduction of the new Tucker University Library, you will be able to purchase downloadable lesson plans and supply lists with pre-cutting instructions for teaching specific patterns as project classes!

Our mission is to provide shop owners and instructors with the best possible resources for teaching with the least amount of preparation time. A Teaching packet includes a supply list with pre-cutting instructions as well as those fantastic lesson plans with teaching notes for conducting an excellent class experience or series of classes.

Some of the Teaching Packets will be for patterns from the Studio 180 Design product line and other Teaching Packets will be for brand new patterns from Tucker University.
